Smiles AG is one of the leading electro cars manufacturer in Germany with a share of 50% market share. Smiles AG is not new in this segment. Smiles AG imports electric cars from India as well.

Electric car from India REVA i model will be on display at our meeting on 21^st July 2010

The REVAi is a small 3-door hatchback measuring 2.6 m (8 ft 6 in) long, 1.3 m (4 ft 3 in) wide and 1.5 m (4 ft 11 in) high. The car can accommodate two adults in the front and twochildren in the rear. The back seats can fold down to provide cargo space. The maximum passenger and cargo weight is 270 kg (600 lb).

The REVA Electric Car Company (RECC) is an Indian company based in Bangalore. It is primarily notable for manufacturing the world´s best selling electric vehicle. On May 26th 2010, India's largest sports utility vehicles and tractor maker Mahindra & Mahindra announced of buying a 55.2 percent controlling stake in Reva. Following the deal, the Bangalore-based company will be renamed as Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicle Company Ltd with Mahindra’s president of automotive business Pawan Goenka becoming the new company’s chairman. The deal now puts Reva's ties with GM for the production of e-Spark in doubt.

After the last performance at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken is over, Green Rent GmbH would like to present the whole story with pictures and emotions of firstTata Nano car in Germany. It will also tell a story in which Indo-German network and ShriTek Technologies played an important role to get first Tata Nano to Germany.

Shritek Technologies our IT partners played an important role in progress of our network. They gave real professional IT base for us. Joint efforts from GreenRent/ShriTek/Indo-German Trade network created a new dimension of work.

Our RESTRUCTURING PLANS for the Year 2010:

• Our network has offered two companies/month company presentations for last 5 years. This service was free.
• As our Indo-German Business Network expanded in a short time (currently 9000) we have to see if we can improve quality. Our website is having more than 20 thousand hits per month and that too without any work is done in this direction. We would improve our work in this direction as well.
• To improve our services, our network will offer events only on demand and companies will have to bear/share cost. If demand is there we can host more than one event in a month and we are more flexible.
• Companies for presentation will have to register well in advance.
• If host company presentation then host will decide about location and number of guests they want to invite. Host company presentation will be in two parts first host company
• presentation (15 minutes) and second part an Indo-German business panel from industry,
• media and others. This discussion panel duration will be 30 to 45 minutes.
• All participants of future events will have to register and their participation will be confirmed
• through online listing at our website. Those listed online as participants will be allowed to take active part. If a participant does not want his/her name to be listed online we can put ?xyz? in place of his/her name.
• Company presentations/participant activities will be visible for registered members only.
• For registration Login will be allowed to those who register with their full name, company name and company email contact details. Our IT team is working on this.
• After confirmation if participant does not appear maximum three times in a year, will not be allowed to participate for next 10 events.
• Participants will have to bear the cost for dinner/buffet and drinks.
• We are planning to open Indo-German Business Centre in Delhi, Chennai. We are looking for support from trade organizations, chamber of commerce in India and in Germany,
• ministries and companies from India and from Germany.
• We are looking for strategic partners in all business fields in Germany and in India.
• We are re-structuring our work for 2010 and for years to come.
• We are planning to host events more exclusive and at exclusive locations
